Oh, I'll just knit a couple pairs of socks. OK, 2 adult and one baby pair. And some gauntlets. That's it - not much for Christmas giving. I must have been dropped on my head when I was a kid - seriously! I have started the SAME FREAKING PAIR of socks THREE F*&(ING TIMES!!!! It's a really simple pair, no cables or fancy colorwork. Just straight-forward 2X2 ribbing, then stockingknit - but can I get more than a couple of inches done???? APPARENTLY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

Socks either cooperate or they don't. There seems to be no middle ground for the socks. They drive me nuts!!! And yet I can't wait to get back to knitting them once the holidays are over. This is not a healthy relationship...
